Patrick teaches satipaṭṭhana, the way of mindfulness, in the lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw. He emphasises the cultivation of a felt continuity of awareness by tracking the elemental flow of experience that lies beneath our habitual concepts and reactions. This retreat is designed for experienced practitioners who feel independent in their practice, to the degree that they can be confident in their ability to maintain their practice with the minimum of external support’.
